Operate and test humanoid robots for commercial use cases, identify issues, and report them to engineering teams. This role involves direct interaction with robots to validate behaviors and skills, ensuring successful operation and adherence to safety and maintenance procedures.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for the humanoid robot operating successfully for the Customer use case
  2. Run the robot constantly throughout the day/midevening, identifying bugs and problems
  3. Track, document, and escalate issues to the appropriate engineering teams using Jira.
  4. Ensure work areas meet organizational cleanliness and organization standards.
  5. Adhere to all safety procedures related to robot operation and teleoperation equipment.

Skills

Required

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand 8+ hours a day
  • Physically manage humanoid hardware
  • Embrace constructive feedback and strive for constant improvement
  • Thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment or humanoid hardware weighing up to 50 lbs independently
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the work area for the entirety of an 8+ hour shift
  • Capacity for frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and fine motor manipulation of robot hardware
