This role is for an IBM Principal Specialist at MongoDB, focused on driving new business through a strategic IBM Co-Sell Partnership across the Americas. The role involves leading go-to-market initiatives, collaborating with sales teams, and accelerating revenue growth by addressing skills, product, and solution gaps. It requires executive-level relationship building, hands-on sales execution, and navigating complex enterprise deals within the database and cloud computing space, with a specific understanding of IBM's Data & AI portfolio and the watsonx ecosystem.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with IBM’s Americas partner ecosystems leads and regional sales leadership to continuously improve and optimize the account level engagement and go-to-market outcomes
  2. Collaborate with IBM’s account teams and MongoDB direct sellers on large, complex joint opportunities
  3. Drive joint sales enablement with IBM to ensure field alignment, clarity of value proposition, and effective engagement models
  4. Build and manage all aspects of the IBM partnership, including KPIs, QBRs, executive relationships, and operating cadence
  5. Ensure MongoDB is top-of-mind and recommended within IBM customer opportunities

Skills

Required

  • Quota-carrying sales experience
  • Experience with IBM partnerships (OEM, reseller)
