Target is seeking an ICQA Team Member to support operational teams in defect resolution, focusing on inventory accuracy within stored locations. This role involves auditing and resolving defects, researching root causes, and improving inventory accuracy. The team member will utilize lean approaches, Six Sigma tools, and 5S techniques, and will be responsible for performing weekly audits, communicating findings, and correcting inventory record inaccuracies. The role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a focus on safety and professionalism.

What you'd actually do

  1. audit and resolve defects, within an assigned Service Level Agreement (SLA) and then research and document root cause for follow-up to address the issue moving forward to ultimately improve inventory accuracy.
  2. While working safely and promoting a safe workplace, you’ll respond to defects found in warehouse locations, often times utilizing powered equipment.
  3. You will be responsible for performing weekly audits, collaborating and communicating the findings of those audits and resolution steps with your ICQA Leader and other operational leaders within the building.
  4. Using your problem solving skills, you will correct any inventory record inaccuracies in the warehouse and conduct follow up audits that aid with proper research.
  5. You will also be responsible for addressing inaccuracies impeding operational teams from picking product, helping to prevent downstream order cancellations.
