Seeking a Digital Human Artist for ILM London to create and manage photorealistic human assets, focusing on modeling, texturing, and look-development. The role involves achieving accurate likenesses, working with scan data, exploring hybrid VFX/real-time workflows, and collaborating with other departments. Experience with photogrammetry and anatomy is important, with grooming, Mari, and real-time engines being preferred skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate photorealistic hero digital doubles, taking ownership of modeling, texturing, and look-development workflows.
  2. Achieve accurate portraiture likenesses from any type of reference for conceptual approval.
  3. Work seamlessly with scan data or sculpt assets by hand to produce high-quality results.
  4. Explore and implement hybrid workflows, bridging VFX and real-time pipelines.
  5. Collaborate closely with Show supervision and creature technical directors to ensure consistency and excellence in achieving a photorealistic finish.
