Implementation Analyst

Visa is seeking an Implementation Analyst to support Traditional Banks/Credit Union implementation project requests. This role involves consulting with customers, acting as a liaison between Visa support and clients, assessing business and technical impacts, managing requests, and coordinating internal resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and electronic funds transfer, with strong analytical and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support all Traditional Banks/Credit Union implementation project requests for existing clients.
  2. Consult directly with customers to understand requirements and be able to offer industry best practice recommendations for successful implementations.
  3. Be able to meet specified job responsibilities with minimal guidance, direction, and/or involvement from management.
  4. Act as primary liaison between Visa support staff and customers and represent customer system/operational requirements to internal organizations.
  5. Apply working knowledge of a variety of systems and procedures to assess business and technical impact of project requirements and communicate these to clients and internal Visa departments.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to comprehend and translate technical issues
  • Ability to synthesize technical information and apply it to business solutions
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities at once and reprioritize tasks with minimal involvement from management
  • Demonstrated success in customer relationship management
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills required

Nice to have

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • 3 or more years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
  • 1 to 3 years of direct experience in project management preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electronic funds transfer (EFT), ATM, or retail banking preferred
  • Experience in a technology-based industry preferred
