Implementation Analyst

Visa is seeking an Implementation Analyst to support implementation requests for existing Traditional Bank, Credit Union, and Fintech clients. The role involves partnering with clients to understand card program configurations, facilitate installations, and manage maintenance requests. The analyst will act as a liaison between Visa support and customers, assess business and technical impacts, plan client meetings, manage change requests, and coordinate internal resources. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong execution and analytical abilities, with an emphasis on client-facing coordination, cross-functional communication, and project execution in a hybrid work environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support implementation requests for existing Traditional Bank, Credit Union, and Fintech clients.
  2. Partner directly with clients to understand card program configurations and requirements.
  3. Will act as primary liaison between Visa support staff and customers and will represent customer system and operational requirements to internal organizations.
  4. Plan and lead client meetings and conference calls.
  5. Manage routine and non-routine, moderately complex processing and change requests, as well as support customer-driven initiatives.

Skills

Required

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experience using standard MS Office tools (ex: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities at once and re-prioritize tasks with minimal involvement from management.
  • Demonstrated success in customer relationship management.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.

Nice to have

  • 6 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Experience using Gen AI, (ex: ChatGPT, Copilot)
  • 1 to 3 years direct experience in project management is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in electronic funds transfer (EFT), ATM, or retail banking, is preferred.
  • Experience in a financial services and or technology-based industry is preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and translate technical issues, trouble-shoot and determine resolution.
  • Ability to synthesize technical information and apply to business solutions.
