Stripe is seeking an Implementation Consultant for their Professional Services team in Japan. This role focuses on managing the full onboarding cycle for mid-market and enterprise clients, ensuring they achieve maximum value from Stripe's financial infrastructure platform. Responsibilities include developing integration architecture, managing timelines, collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Technical Services, Product, Engineering), and driving product strategy for large users. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience with strategic customers, strong project management skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the full onboarding cycle for mid-market and enterprise companies from contract signing through launch.
  2. Develop, manage, and implement a customer’s integration architecture, change management strategy, and timeline.
  3. Partner with other Sales and Technical Services teams to improve the overall Stripe user journey.
  4. Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy for large users.
  5. Collaborate with teammates on strategic projects that improve and scale our implementation process and team operations.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience working with strategic customers on technology solutions
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and craft tailored solutions
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to Stripe’s largest customers
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong critical thinking abilities
  • Experience identifying and solving internal process inefficiencies
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
