This role focuses on optimizing workflows and implementing new features within a healthcare setting, bridging clinical, operations, engineering, and design teams. It involves defining product requirements, driving adoption, and ensuring efficiency through process analysis and improvement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive workflow design and implementation: Manage the complete process of workflow projects from initiation to launch, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  2. Analyze and optimize operations: Identify areas for improvement within existing processes, developing streamlined workflows to maximize efficiency.
  3. Collaborate on new process execution: Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, etc.) to implement new workflows effectively.
  4. Perform efficiency reviews for continuous improvement: Regularly assess workflow performance, refining processes to enhance efficiency and achieve optimal results.
  5. Create training resources for user adoption: Develop training materials and resources that facilitate user understanding and adoption of new workflows.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of health operations management or service experience with administrative and clinical workflows, data reporting and interpretation of KPIs
  • Background working in performance improvement and data reporting
  • Excellent writing skills; documenting requirements, specifications, process flows, gap analyses, and project plans
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, relationship, communication, and coordination skills
  • Takes initiative, exhibits a high level of accountability, and makes sound decisions under uncertainty
  • A polished communicator with strong executive presence

Nice to have

  • Experience across EHRs preferred
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques, healthcare operations and application of software in healthcare setting
  • Experience collaborating with software teams to define or refine product definitions
  • Able to initiate, manage, learn, and perform work with limited instruction
