What you'd actually do

  1. Provide legal advice to appropriate representatives of the State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company and its affiliates
  2. Collaborate with internal and external legal teams, IT and other internal business areas, and external vendors to develop and implement eDiscovery strategies that align with legal and business objectives
  3. Help manage eDiscovery risks arising at all stages of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model
  4. Provide strategic guidance for, draft and help negotiate eDiscovery protocols, protective orders, and related agreements
  5. Help identify, develop, implement, and refining optimal use of discovery-related technology, including GenAI, including for early case assessment and broader discovery strategies.

Skills

Required

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active law license to practice law in at least one state
  • 5+ years of litigation experience
  • Advanced knowledge of legal principles and practices related to litigation
  • Breadth and depth of technical legal knowledge
