This role focuses on incident management and operational resilience within PayPal's European operations, ensuring timely responses, regulatory compliance (including DORA), and continuous improvement of incident management frameworks. It involves coordinating cross-functional teams, analyzing trends, and promoting a proactive incident management culture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate PPEU's first-line engagement during incidents, ensuring timely classification, regulatory assessment, and stakeholder reporting.
  2. Liaise with cross-functional teams (Risk, Compliance, IT, InfoSec) to ensure PPEU is effectively engaged and informed during major incidents.
  3. Develop and enhance incident management frameworks, playbooks, and response processes
  4. Analyze incident trends and root causes to implement improvements and preventative measures
  5. Support regulatory reporting and ensure alignment with EU requirements (including DORA)

Skills

Required

  • Incident management experience
