This role is for an Incident Response Team Analyst in EMEA, focusing on evaluating threats, risks, and user privacy related to time-critical emergency escalations. The analyst will review and assess inbound escalations, make decisions based on complex factors, coordinate with internal and external partners (including law enforcement), and ensure user safety. The role requires strong decision-making, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle potentially graphic content. While the role involves using and developing skills in AI tools for workflow optimization, its core function is incident response and security, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Bring operational depth to a team that evaluates threat, risk and user privacy in an environment centered around time-critical emergency escalations
  2. Review and assess inbound emergency escalations; make immediate decisions based on a variety of complex factors that will include imminence, sensitive issues and graphic content and coordinate with a number of internal and external partners including law enforcement in an attempt to ensure user’s safety and mitigate real-world harm
  3. Convey clear and concise responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Incident Response policy and process
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes across teams
  5. Available for weekend work on a rotational basis regularly

Skills

Required

  • Proven ability to make important decisions independently and prioritize competing urgent tasks based on impact, imminence, and stakeholder needs, respond quickly to changing situations in complex environments while maintaining accuracy and adherence to established protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing information to assess imminent risk and threats to life
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different stakeholders like cross-functional teams and law enforcement
  • Ability to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content
  • Experience with social media, analytical tools and online research
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Hindi or other languages spoken in India [e.g. Tamil, Telugu, Bengali) is preferred because the role supports global emergency escalations where communications may be received in local languages
  • Experience with Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement
  • Direct experience in handling emergency response escalations
