This role is within Walmart's AI Center of Excellence, focusing on applying AI and LLM initiatives to empower the Finance organization. The position involves providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on support for building intelligent AI solutions, including agents and conversational interfaces, using modern AI patterns like MCP and RAG. The goal is to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and simplify workflows through AI-driven automation and insights within Finance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for AI/LLM initiatives supporting Finance workflows and analytics
  2. Review solution designs and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with best practices, governance, and responsible AI principles
  3. Translate complex Finance business needs into AI-enabled solution strategies and actionable technical requirements
  4. Oversee the development of intelligent assistants that interpret natural language prompts and deliver insights
  5. Step in hands-on to debug AI-generated logic and validate system behaviour

Skills

Required

  • 7–8+ years of experience in AI/ML, analytics, software engineering, or related technical fields
  • Strong understanding of contemporary AI/LLM systems
