Industrial Engineer 2 - Supply Chain

Industrial Engineer 2 focused on supply chain operations, process improvement, and automation within fulfillment and distribution centers. Responsibilities include data analysis, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, time and motion studies, standard work, AutoCAD layout, and project management for small to medium scope projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collects data and performs complex data analysis to understand current state conditions that will be used to drive continuous improvement ideas, capacity analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and change initiatives and projects
  2. Leverages continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to optimize, lead, and provide supply chain solutions for current and future operations for small to medium (<$250k) scope projects
  3. Performs time and motion studies, has experience with predetermined time systems (e.g., MOST, MSD, MTM), indirect time, & PF&D. Detects gaps between observed time and labor standards, and develops key insights to improve productivity
  4. Leads Standard Work efforts in collaboration with operations and continuous improvement teams
  5. Develops knowledge of distribution and fulfillment best practices and engineering standards. Leverages best practices and engineering standards in the development and deployment of solutions

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering
  • Strong understanding and application of end-to-end Industrial Engineering discipline, processes, and tools
  • Experience interacting and communicating clearly/concisely with senior leadership

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with Supply Chain Distribution/Fulfillment (e-Com) environment
  • AutoCAD, simulation, and SQL query experience
