  5. Interface with union/works council and Health and Safety to settle job disputes and ergonomic issues

What the JD emphasized

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • 5 years’ experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment
  • Must possess the ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments.
  • Must have the necessary skill set to have job placement flexibility and the expectation to rotate to various positions within the plant such as Production or Quality
  • Must display strong customer orientation with a commitment to upholding plant processes through strict adherence to the Quality Operating System.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to execute to achieve results, while organizing and managing multiple priorities
  • Must have a proven willingness to take a participatory approach to union relations and be a team player
