Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to develop and administer security programs for classified materials and information. Responsibilities include managing program security compliance, handling personnel clearances and access, maintaining accountability of classified material, conducting security education, investigating violations, and liaising with government agencies. Requires a Secret security clearance and knowledge of relevant DoD security regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  2. Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions including PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations, and Document Control Management.
  3. Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems.
  4. Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures.
  5. Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s).

Skills

Required

  • US Citizen
  • Secret security clearance
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07
  • 2 years of security experience with a Bachelors degree, 0 years with a Masters degree, or an additional four years of security experience may be considered lieu of a degree

Nice to have

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP access
  • Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases.
  • Working knowledge of DoD, SAP, and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance.
  • CDSE SAP Orientation course or CDSE SAP Mid-Level course.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
