Industrial Security Manager - Level 3

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Manager (Level 3) in Dulles, VA, to oversee all security activities and operations within a business unit across multiple locations. This role involves ensuring compliance with government and company regulations for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment, including managing physical security, COMSEC, PERSEC, and investigations. The manager will lead a team of security professionals, develop security programs, conduct audits, investigate violations, and align security goals with business needs. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the Business Unit VP security partner aligning goals and prioritization of tasks to meet security organization compliance and business needs
  2. Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
  3. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  4. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, establish procedures for handling, storing, and maintaining records, and grants personnel and visitors access to restricted documents and materials
  5. Develop and implement a security education program

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience including people management experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience including people management experience
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within 120 days of start date
  • Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
  • Must have in-depth knowledge with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements
