This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and service work on gas engines and power generators, including troubleshooting and fault finding. It requires a technical background in mechanics or mechatronics and experience with electronic engine and system controls.

What you'd actually do

  1. Abhängig von Ihren Kenntnissen führen Sie eigenständig Instandsetzungs- und Servicearbeiten mit den Schwerpunkten MSR- und Elektrotechnik aus oder führen Montageinhalte an Motoren und Aggregaten bzw. BHKW durch
  2. Sie suchen Fehler an Gasmotoren inkl. Anlagenperipherie
  3. Zudem beheben Sie Störungen
  4. Sie erstellen Abnahmeprotokolle und Arbeitsberichte und passen Unterlagen (z. B. Revisionspläne) an
  5. Darüber hinaus unterstützen Sie bei Inbetriebnahmen bzw. Endabnahmen von Gesamtanlagen

Skills

Required

  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician (low voltage), energy system electrician, or electronics technician for operational technology
  • First professional experience in gas engine technology (commercial vehicle engines or CHP gas engine technology)
  • Knowledge and practical experience in handling electronic engine and system controls, ideally as a qualified electrician
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Good German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Driver's license class B

Nice to have

  • Experience in the operation and service of CHP and emergency power systems (maintenance and repair)
  • Basic English language skills
