This role is for an Industry Lead Solutions Architect in Financial Services at Databricks. The primary focus is on defining and executing industry strategy, creating domain-specific assets, driving joint GTM strategy with partners, and engaging with customers to advise on how Databricks solves their challenges. The role involves guiding customers through the use case lifecycle and enabling field teams and partners. While Databricks is an AI company and the role involves positioning Databricks' capabilities, the core function is not building or directly shipping AI/ML models but rather enabling the go-to-market strategy and customer adoption of existing solutions, including AI-powered ones.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute the Databricks Industry strategy
  2. Create standardized frameworks for asset quality and prioritization
  3. Drive joint GTM strategy with partners
  4. Embed with strategic Financial Services customers
  5. Guide customers through the full use case lifecycle

  • 15+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role
  • Deep domain expertise in Financial Services
  • Experience building outcome-focused content, POVs, and technical assets
  • Experience working with global system integrators, consulting organizations, financial services technology, or financial services data providers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Mentoring technical teams

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in an engineering or mathematics discipline
