Influencer Marketing Manager

Whatnot is seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to oversee influencer strategy and execution for core verticals like Fashion, Cards, and Collectibles. The role involves identifying, outreaching, and negotiating with influencers, developing campaign strategies, managing accounts, and building a network of micro-influencers. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of influencer marketing experience, preferably in high-growth startups or creator-focused platforms, with a proven ability to drive metric-driven results and a strong understanding of internet culture and analytical skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify, outreach, and negotiate deals with the most impactful influencers in your vertical’s 3-5 primary categories.
  2. Work closely with the Category Marketing team to develop campaigns that map to specific influencer archetypes and activation formats.
  3. Source and outreach creators in the target influencer archetypes through email, Instagram DM, or other creative means of contact.
  4. Negotiate contracts in line with CAC, FTB, and LTV targets. Drive the internal approval process to signature.
  5. Provide white glove support to influencers, ensuring that they have a comprehensive understanding of the product. Monitor and maintain the quality of sponsored content, ensuring it aligns with brand standards. Oversee the timely posting of agreed deliverables and ensure prompt payment.
  6. Build a stable of +100 micro-influencers that we can activate through our Ambassador Program.
