Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) for their Informatica Solution team in Seoul. The role involves engaging with customers and partners to develop technical account plans, drive sales engagements, and design technical solutions on Informatica Data Management Cloud. The candidate will educate stakeholders on the Informatica value proposition, participate in architectural discussions, and contribute to pipeline generation through workshops, social media, content development, and marketing events. The role requires expertise in Informatica services, cloud computing security, hybrid deployments, data warehousing, and BI software concepts. Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English or Japanese is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. As a Solution Architect, you will engage with internal collaborators and customers and partners to develop technical account plan/strategy and drive sales engagements to technical closure.
  2. As a key member of the sales team, you will ensure success by capturing customer use cases and designing complex technical solutions on top of Informatica Data Management Cloud.
  3. You will educate customers and internal stakeholders on the Informatica value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and consumption in the cloud.
  4. To ensure sustained revenue growth you will contribute to pipeline generation by delivering technical workshops, being active in social media promotions, developing content for external circulation, and participating in industry marketing events.
  5. Manage customer engagements independently

Skills

Required

  • Intermediate certification on at least 1 Cloud Ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and 1 data related cloud technology at the level defined by the business
  • Advanced knowledge of Cloud computing security aspects
  • Expert level skills for Informatica services and product capabilities
  • Ability to engage VP, Director customer personas
  • Credibility with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical customer personas
  • Expert storytelling and presentation skills across multiple horizontal and vertically specific use cases
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, bilingual in Korean and either English or Japanese is required.
  • Ability to create and execute on a strategic technical account plan as defined by the business
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in data management, MDM, or DG
  • 10 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
