This role is for an Information Architect at Saronic, a company focused on autonomous surface vessels for defense programs. The Information Architect will coordinate development, manage technical media schedules, ensure tasks are resourced and tracked, support cross-team communication, and plan content strategy for documentation. Responsibilities include defining project scopes, managing resources, tracking progress, ensuring deliverable quality, evaluating performance, and providing clear information architecture and content strategy. The role requires strong user-centered design understanding, ability to analyze complex information, and proficiency in Confluence and Linear. This is not an AI/ML development role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables; create detailed project plans, timelines, and task assignments.
  2. Act as a central point of communication for all stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports on progress, and solutions to challenges.
  3. Manage and allocate resources to ensure project success.
  4. Track project progress; manage risks and obstacles as they arise.
  5. Ensure the quality of project deliverables and confirm that company standards are met.

Skills

Required

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design and how to create positive user journeys.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into user-friendly systems.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and explain architecture decisions.
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools for collaboration, scheduling, and tracking progress.
  • Knowledge of relevant and tools used for information architecture; Confluence and Linear proficiency required.
  • Understanding of how people learn and process information, knowledge of library science.
