Information Systems Security Manager responsible for the security of systems enabling employees to use USG facilities and enclaves for critical DoD missions. This includes maintaining compliance, building resilient infrastructure, managing access, and partnering with users. The role involves advising on system security, scaling infrastructure with automation, creating documentation (POA&Ms, SSPs, ATOs), integrating new technologies, managing user accounts, and utilizing SIEM tools for monitoring and reporting. Familiarity with DoD cyber security tools and relevant certifications is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of the systems under their purview.
  2. Scale our infrastructure by creatively implementing automated solutions.
  3. Create and manage user-facing guides, POA&Ms, SSPs, ATOs, and other relevant USG documentation.
  4. Integrate new hardware and software technologies into our USG infrastructure.
  5. Familiar with eMASS and managing the system security authorization package to ensure all requirements are met and submitted.

  • ELK or other SIEMS
  • DoD cyber security tools (Endpoint Security Solutions, ACAS, STIGs, SCAP)
  • Active US TOP SECRET or SECRET clearance
  • ISSM(722) or IAM Level 2 certification
  • Computing Environmental certification (Linux+, CCNA, or other)
  • 3+ years technical experience at USG facility
