Information Technology Manager to lead a development team for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions within Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS). The role involves managing development processes, integrating employee activities across IT, and developing departmental strategies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads a large development team that includes direct employees, contractors and purchase services
  2. Provides direction and coordination of developers utilizing the latest development processes for configuration, data mapping and workflow development on a large Integrated Product Data Management application
  3. Manages and integrates employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
  4. Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  5. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
