Skills

Required

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
  • 2+ years applied experience in infrastructure engineering
  • Broad infrastructure fundamentals: hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment/integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessment
  • Strong hands-on Cisco, Arista and Fortinet networking expertise
  • L2/L3 switching and routing
  • Proven delivery experience on network migration projects
  • BGP and OSPF expertise
  • VLANs, STP, LACP, port-channels
  • Network configuration, troubleshooting, and validation
  • Pre-/post-migration checks and cutover activities
  • Experience operating/migrating across public and private clouds
  • Python scripting
  • Basic data fluency
  • Familiarity with Arista and Fortinet
  • Working knowledge of using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows
  • Strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before use
  • Escalating when uncertain and following security and data handling expectations
