JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III Network Operation Engineer to manage production incidents, problems, change management, communications, and lifecycle management for network operations. The role involves creating innovative solutions for large-scale infrastructure and requires experience in network technologies, scripting languages, and monitoring tools within a banking environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Accountable for incident, problem, change management, risk, vendor and client relationship, internal and external communications, service delivery, lifecycle management and service evolution
  2. Execute the day to day duties of their function and to define and drive MIS requirements to support and improve the business processes they support
  3. Act as primary customer interface for day to day issues and queries.
  4. Leadership skills, emerging in management, Example : Team Leader / SME (Subject matter Expert)
  5. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members as well as overall team management responsibilities

Skills

Required

  • BE/BS degree or equivalent with 3 to 7+ Years of experience in Network Operation.
  • Expertise in one or multiple Network Technologies : Routing & Switching (LAN, WAN, MAN), IP Services (Load Balancing, Bluecoat Proxies and Firewalls), Datacenter Technologies (Nexus, ASR, VXLAN, Cisco ACI / SIMPL , Arista Fabric), Optical (Ciena).
  • Experience working in a banking, exchange or technology type environment within a global organization.
  • Understand Network infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems.
  • Executes within a customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to use (or learn) scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience in Protocol Analyzers (Cpacket, BigSwtich, Wireshark, Riverbed).
  • Experience in capacity/monitoring management tools (Splunk, SevOne, ThousandEyes).
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Must be flexible, hands on and able to work in a fast paced, high pressure, client-focused and collaborative environment.
