The role involves developing and industrializing advanced image processing algorithms, including deep learning approaches, for real-time clinical applications in interventional radiology. The engineer will work on the full development cycle of algorithms, collaborate with clinical experts, define validation strategies, and contribute to technological differentiation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Faire évoluer les algorithmes existants sur l’ensemble du cycle de développement : analyse des besoins, spécifications, conception, développement, validation et documentation
  2. Collaborer avec des expert·e·s en applications cliniques avancées, ainsi qu’avec nos client·e·s pour évaluer et améliorer les performances des solutions
  3. Définir des stratégies de vérification (niveau système) et des plans de validation en lien avec les usages cliniques (niveau utilisateur)
  4. Contribuer aux activités globales de l’équipe en qualité image et développer votre expertise en physique des rayons X
  5. Développer des outils de simulation et des méthodologies permettant de caractériser, automatiser, tester et documenter les fonctionnalités

Skills

Required

  • 3 years of experience in image processing, including classical and/or deep learning approaches
  • Python and/or C/C++
  • Linux and scripting (bash/shell)
  • Strong interest in advanced algorithms and AI/ML/deep learning approaches

Nice to have

  • PhD and/or engineering degree in image processing, applied mathematics, or related field, ideally with an AI component
  • Scientific curiosity, rigor, and desire to learn
  • Clear communication skills and synthesis ability
  • Good interpersonal skills and taste for collaborative work in an international environment
  • Writing skills (technical documents, patents)
  • Knowledge of X-ray imaging and/or interventional radiology
  • Experience in image processing applied to the medical field
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence / machine learning
  • Strong interest in innovation and impactful technologies
