This role is for an Operations Staff member in pharmaceutical manufacturing at Johnson & Johnson's Fuji plant in Japan. The primary responsibilities include leading inspection, manufacturing, and preservation operations according to correct procedures to ensure continuous production of quality products. The role involves managing production schedules, driving operational efficiency, safety, and quality control, and actively participating in factory improvement initiatives. Compliance with GMP and other regulations is critical. Experience with GMP/CGTP, Lean, or Six Sigma is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. 正しい手順で時間通りに検査、製造、保存する作業のオペレーション業務をリードし、正しい品質の製品を継続的に製造する。
  2. 責任分野におけるオペレーションに100%精通する。
  3. 検査・包装・保存作業において、作業の安全性、品質に関して責任を持つ。
  4. シフト体制の中で、医薬品の検査・包装・オペレーション作業の各ラインでの製造スケジュール管理を行う。
  5. オペレーションにおける作業効率、安全面、品質管理において、継続的な改善や業務効率をあげる努力をチームの一員として積極的に行う。

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent Japanese (JLTP Level 1)
  • Willingness to understand English emails using translation tools

Nice to have

  • Degree in Pharmacy or Biology or higher
  • Knowledge and field experience in GMP/CGTP
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean/Six Sigma
  • At least 2 years of experimental/research/work experience in a university or company lab within the last 10 years
  • Desire to improve English skills in the future
