Northrop Grumman is seeking an Inspector (Level 2 or 3) to perform quality inspections on various products, including electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical units, in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include visual inspection, dimensional compliance checks, documentation review, and ensuring adherence to specifications and procedures. The role requires experience with technical drawings, quality systems, and potentially specific certifications like AS9102 and IPC standards. A DoD Secret Clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Inspection of materials from internal or external sources and services; involving physical inspection, documenting dimensional compliance and review of supplier certifications for compliance. Includes inspection of internally manufactured parts and final assemblies throughout all stages of production and review of final test data.
  2. Responsible for inspection of product in accordance with drawings, work instructions, quality acceptance procedures and maintenance of acceptance documentation/records.
  3. Generate and review First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102.
  4. Coordinate and assist with Customer and DCMA Source Inspections.
  5. Verify calibration of tooling and other equipment is valid and current.
