Boeing is seeking an Inspector for Electrical & Electronic Sub Assembly to join their Quality team. This role involves ensuring components meet high standards of safety and performance through detailed inspections, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities include verifying drawings, performing various electrical tests, identifying and documenting discrepancies, and coordinating with engineering and quality teams to improve build processes. The position requires experience in quality inspection, using precision tools, and reading engineering drawings, with a focus on maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Communicate with shop personnel or check the Call Sheet for the next job or in-process inspection, obtaining applicable drawings and specifications.
  2. Ensure that the correct revisions of drawings and documents are being used, verifying that all paperwork and online systems are complete and accurate.
  3. Perform inspections and in-process inspections as required, including crimping, splicing, torque, bond, and ground checks.
  4. Conduct various tests and measurements, such as resistance tests, to ensure that wires meet specification requirements.
  5. Monitor manufacturing processes and document findings as required to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
  • 1+ years of experience using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators
  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
