What you'd actually do

  1. Monitor call sheets and online systems for in-process work such as bond, torque, seal, and Installation Plan (IP) buy-offs. Check for Out Of Sequence Installation Plans (OSIP), Non-Conformance Orders (NCO), rejection tags, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), reinspection requests, and Corrective Action Records (CAR).
  2. Inspect production and post-delivery power plant and strut assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings, BAC specifications, maintenance manuals, repair station work, and service bulletins.
  3. Perform receivable inspections on parts, engines, and struts, verifying identification numbers, condition, and paperwork accuracy; document discrepancies as required.
  4. Use online systems (e.g., Non-Conformance Management) to track pickups and monitor responses from Engineering.
  5. Verify proper installation of check fixtures according to tool usage and buy-off fit or installation requirements.
