Installation Technician

This role involves installing and activating technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services for customers in their homes and businesses. The technician works independently, acts as a trusted expert, and is responsible for problem-solving and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Key activities include installing new lines, working with ladders, and activating networks. The role requires a flexible schedule, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Extensive training is provided.

  1. Installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services.
  2. Working independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert.
  3. Solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work.
  4. Putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network.

Skills

Required

  • Valid state driver's license
  • Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work in small spaces or aloft
  • Availability for overtime, emergency call outs and holiday work
  • Ability to identify wire and cable colors
  • Qualify on pre-employment assessment

Nice to have

  • Experience with Maintenance Technician, Cable Installation Technician, Fiber Technician, Facility Technician or Telecommunications Technician roles
