What you'd actually do

  1. Designs test hardware, software, and systems to achieve test requirements
  2. Develops and maintains data system architecture, both Electrical and Mechanical
  3. Supports fabrication, configuration, build, installation, and checkout of data system
  4. Operates data system on aircraft ground tests and flight tests
  5. Maintains, troubleshoots, and configuration control of data system

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years of experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, and/or simulation

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Accelerometers, Pressure sensors, Temperature sensors, Strain gages, Position sensors and Flowmeters
  • Understanding of mechanical design and the ability to decipher engineering drawings
