Integrated Manufacturing Ops Architect Manager

This role focuses on architecting and implementing integrated manufacturing operations management (iMOM) solutions for refining and chemicals environments. It involves translating business needs into functional specifications, mapping processes, defining system blueprints (MES, SCADA, LIMS, PLM), and ensuring integration with ERP platforms. The role acts as a liaison between plant operations, IT, and vendors to design data flows and deliver solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct discussions with senior leaders on Integrated Manufacturing Operations Management (iMOM) solutions for refining and chemicals environments
  2. Lead requirements and use case discussions and translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and test scenarios
  3. Map current-state and future-state manufacturing processes aligned to ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards
  4. Define functional blueprints for manufacturing systems, including Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and their integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms
  5. Serve as the liaison across plant operations, information technology, and vendors to design data flows and deliver integrated manufacturing solutions

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience implementing refining and chemicals manufacturing systems across operations, engineering, health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE), and maintenance
  • Experience with Integrated Manufacturing Operations Management (iMOM) in refining and chemicals
  • Experience with process integration
  • Experience across information tech
