Integrated Planning & Scheduling – Data Center Development

Oracle Oracle · Enterprise · NM

This role is responsible for building and managing the integrated master schedule (IMS) for large-scale OCI data center programs, from project initiation through GPU/rack handover. It drives schedule predictability by aligning internal teams and external partners, maintaining critical path clarity, and proactively managing schedule risk to enable on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires experience in construction project controls/scheduling or a relevant degree with experience, and proficiency with enterprise scheduling tools like Oracle Primavera P6. Experience with mission-critical or large capital programs is essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and maintain the end-to-end integrated master schedule across multiple concurrent data center projects/programs.
  2. Establish and govern standard scheduling methodology (WBS structure, activity coding, calendar standards, baseline/change control).
  3. Drive critical path and near-critical path visibility; lead recovery planning and schedule optimization.
  4. Produce schedule performance reporting (milestone health, look-aheads, variance analysis, trend analysis, forecasts).
  5. Lead schedule-focused risk identification and mitigation, including scenario planning and what-if analysis.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project controls/scheduling/program scheduling, OR Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience owning schedules for mission-critical or large capital programs (data centers, semiconductor, pharma, industrial, or similar).
  • Strong working knowledge of CPM scheduling concepts: critical path, float, baselines, variance/trend analysis.
  • Proficiency with enterprise scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera P6 (or equivalent); strong Excel skills for analysis/reporting.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization (often without direct authority).
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate schedule insights into clear executive updates and actionable next steps.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience scheduling data center builds (including commissioning/turnover and rack readiness sequencing).
  • Experience building portfolio-level schedules across multiple regions/sites with standardized codes and reporting.
  • Familiarity with project controls disciplines beyond scheduling (cost, change control, risk management, earned value concepts).
  • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, PSP (AACE), or equivalent.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis and/or tools/approaches (Monte Carlo, structured schedule risk registers).
  • Prior experience working with colocation providers, general contractors, and specialty trades (including telecom/low-voltage).
