Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman · Aerospace · Rolling Meadows, IL +1 · Systems/Architecture/Test

This role involves conducting integration testing and evaluating complex electronics systems, from hardware/software design through aircraft installation. Responsibilities include generating test plans, procedures, automation, reports, and executing integration test activities in labs or offsite. The role requires a BS/MS in Engineering with experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware, and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience in integration and test environments for complex electronic systems, specific knowledge of EOIR/RFEW systems, and scripting languages are preferred. A security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through aircraft installation
  2. generation of test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and execution of integration test activities (system integration, design verification tests, qualification tests, etc.) in system integration labs (SILs) or offsite locations
  3. gains an understanding of the systems engineering process across a product's lifecycle and gains a full appreciation for how the systems operate
  4. troubleshooting of hardware, software, and firmware issues
  5. work in a collaborative environment and with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines
