Spa Nordstrom expresses the philosophy that beauty is best enhanced by creating a state of physical and emotional well-being by providing a range of services and products to our clients. Spa Nordstrom services include skin care and Ayurvedic treatments, hydrotherapy, massage and hand and foot care.
The massage therapist works to provide clients a soothing spa experience. The ideal candidate is experienced, personable and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.
A day in the life…
- Greet clients and provide a thorough consultation of individual needs
- Provide professional massage services such as deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, sports and pre-natal
- Provide extra services, including foot soaks and refreshments
- Suggest retail products to clients
- Build lasting relationships with clients by contacting them to follow up on services, suggest new products and services, and invite them to upcoming events
- Consistently seek new product knowledge to drive sales and service
You own this if you have…
- Demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive massage therapy required; previous spa experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and coworkers
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and coworkers
- Entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission environment
- Proof of all required licensing by the state

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$23.10 - $23.10 Hourly
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment. At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
