This is an internship role in Communications for Disney Cruise Line, focusing on planning and executing communication strategies across Southeast Asia and India. Responsibilities include media monitoring, research on trends, supporting communications materials, analyzing media coverage, coordinating internal and executive engagement, and supporting ESR programs. The role requires an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Communications or a related field, with strong passion for communications, ability to adapt, team player skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Experience with media monitoring tools is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Daily media monitoring
  2. Research and report on latest media/tourism trends relevant to Disney Cruise Line
  3. Support with communications materials, including press releases, talking points, speeches and more
  4. Analyse media coverage, evaluate metrics and present affinity reports such as sentiments, share of voice, etc
  5. Support internal and executive engagement activities and media events

Skills

Required

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2026
  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for communications
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strategic thinker with good communications skills
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  • Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Video Editing Programs and Keynote
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Ability to utilize media monitoring tools will be a plus
