Intern Health Economics Market Access

Responsibilities include building databases, executing reimbursement simulations, analyzing medical coding and reimbursement changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adapting product value propositions. Requires a degree in life sciences or a technical background with an interest in health economics, knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, and strong Excel and data analysis skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Building of a database and executing reimbursement simulations across inpatient and outpatient tariff systems
  2. Analysis and visualization of medical coding and reimbursement changes relevant to JnJ’s MedTech portfolio
  3. Serving as the local point of contact for regional HEMA teams to ensure alignment with local business needs
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify evidence gaps and supporting the development of new health economic tools and marketing materials
  5. Adaptation and communication of product value propositions to support our local sales force

Skills

Required

  • Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
  • Microsoft Excel
  • common visualization tools (eg Power BI)
  • Applied programming and data analysis skills (eg Java, SQL)
  • Able to understand scientific data and to translate these into a practical narrative
  • Team spirit, creativity, proactivity and a strong organizational talent

Nice to have

  • A high level of enthusiasm and a keen interest in the MedTech industry
  • Excellent German, French or Italian, as well as very good English skills; other languages ​​are a plus
