Boeing Japan is seeking an Intern for their Supply Chain Operation team in Nagoya/Tokyo. The intern will gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, develop value stream maps, create presentation materials, and support engineering projects. Responsibilities include participating in daily operations, conducting analyses for reports, and interacting with stakeholders and suppliers. Required qualifications include being an enrolled student, basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, and strong English skills. Business-level Japanese is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Participate in and conduct day-to-day operation in the rotated business functions.
  2. Conduct analyses and research for specific projects to prepare reports that will be edited and published after internship.
  3. Interact and relationship with stakeholders in Boeing Japan Stakeholder and Boeing suppliers.

Skills

Required

  • Ability to work full-time for eight weeks during the 2026 calendar year.
  • Authorized to work in Japan (up to 40H/week)
  • Undergraduate, masters, or PhD students who will graduate between Oct 2026 and Jul 2028.
  • Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Operation and Manufacturing Operation.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project or similar project management tool.
  • English speaking and writing skills are essential.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma is plus
  • Business level of speaking and writing Japanese (JLPT-N3 or better)
