Internal Communications Senior Manager

Scale AI is seeking an Internal Communications Senior Manager to build and scale internal communication programs, connect employees to company mission and goals, and advise senior leaders on communication strategies. The role involves developing and executing company-wide communication channels and measuring program impact.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and expand internal communications across all business units, building structured programs that help leaders engage and align their teams
  2. Identify gaps in the current internal comms landscape and design net-new programs, from concept through execution, that meet the evolving needs of a fast-growing, cross-functional organization.
  3. Partner closely with business unit leaders and chiefs of staff to develop and execute their communications strategies, including AMAs, leadership updates, and mission-critical announcements
  4. Drive the strategy and execution of company wide channels including all-hands meetings, AMAs, internal newsletters, and Slack channels with the goal of ensuring employees feel informed and connected to Scale's direction
  5. Develop a cohesive internal communications framework that ladders up to CEO and executive messaging, helping employees understand business performance, company milestones, and strategic priorities

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in internal communications
  • Demonstrated experience advising and partnering with senior leaders and executives on communications strategy
  • Strong program management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a high-growth technology company
  • Familiarity with internal comms tools, platforms (e.g., Slack, intranet systems, survey tools) programming, and data-driven approaches to measuring communication effectiveness
  • Experience supporting CEO or executive-level communications in a fast-paced environment
