Internal Communications Specialist

This role is for an Internal Communications Specialist at an AI-native company. The specialist will be responsible for drafting and publishing internal communications across various channels like Slack and Notion, maintaining internal channels, creating visual content, and managing a content calendar. The role requires experience in internal communications or a similar field, excellent writing skills, and familiarity with communication and design tools. While the company is AI-native, this role is not directly involved in building or developing AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Draft and publish Slack posts, Notion pages, FAQs — adapting tone for company-wide, leadership, or team-specific audiences.
  2. Maintain and organize internal channels (Slack, Notion) so information stays easy to find.
  3. Turn decisions, meeting notes, and announcements into clear, concise FAQs and “what changed” summaries.
  4. Maintain style guide consistency and templates across formats.
  5. Capture and produce visual content (photo and video) from Town Halls, company events, and daily office life to support our culture.

Skills

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in internal communications, content, communications coordination, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Experience with Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace (or similar tools).
  • Working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite) and basic photo/video editing.
  • Comfort working in a fast-changing and global environment, with a manager and close collaborations across different time zones.
