This role is for an Internal Engagement Lead in Apple Retail, managing a team of regional internal engagement program managers. The focus is on developing and delivering programs, campaigns, and initiatives to engage Apple Retail's customers and teams with Apple's products and services. The role involves leading a team, developing content strategy, driving workforce engagement plans, and ensuring effective communication and storytelling to support retail teams in delivering excellent customer experiences. It requires managerial experience, expertise in communication and learning plans, and navigating large cross-functional organizations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Internal Engagement Program Managers, driving individual and team performance, ensuring accountability, and embracing continuous improvement while fostering a culture of excellence through performance reviews and identifying growth opportunities for development.
  2. Assess multiple engagement briefs and develop content plans that support retail teams' proficiencies and learning, maintaining coherence across all platforms and outputs aligned with business priorities, engagement goals, and editorial clarity for multi-format publishing.
  3. Communicate clearly and effectively, distilling complex ideas into simple and compelling narratives to engage and influence stakeholders, while cultivating and maintaining strong content partner relationships with key developers and stakeholders.
  4. Connect with retail field teams to understand their needs and challenges, identify opportunities, test and implement solutions, and examine audience engagement metrics and feedback for continued improvement -- while staying attuned to content consumption trends to identify expansion opportunities from business plans and content strategy.
  5. Act with integrity as a trusted role model and advocate for Apple values, comfortable navigating tough situations and driving impact through principled leadership.
