The International Data Acquisition Analyst role at Socure focuses on expanding and managing international data assets for identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance products. This involves sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, and managing third-party data providers, ensuring data quality, operational scalability, and regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams and external partners to identify and operationalize data sources that improve product performance and support international growth.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing management of third-party data vendors across multiple international markets and product lines, ensuring alignment with business priorities and product needs.
  2. Assist in preparing RFIs, RFPs, diligence materials, and vendor assessments to evaluate provider capabilities, data quality, compliance posture, operational fit, and commercial value.
  3. Maintain clear and auditable documentation of purchased data, vendor status, usage rights, contractual constraints, and performance tracking across the data acquisition lifecycle.
  4. Help manage renewals and support discovery of new vendors that improve product quality, coverage, and cost efficiency.
  5. Research and evaluate new international data sources that align with Socure’s strategic priorities, especially for identity verification, fraud prevention, KYC/eKYC, Document Verification and Compliance-related use cases.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as Business, Data, Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 4–8 years of experience in data acquisition, vendor management, procurement, partnerships, data operations, or a related field.
  • Experience evaluating or managing third-party data providers, ideally across multiple markets or jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess data quality, business value, and operational trade-offs.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and privacy frameworks impacting data acquisition and usage, including UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other relevant data protection or regulated-data considerations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with experience maintaining structured documentation, evaluation records, and vendor tracking processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
