International Tax Manager

This role is for an International Tax Manager at Notion, focusing on managing U.S. international tax provisions, compliance, planning, and transfer pricing to support global business expansion and innovation. What you'd actually do

  1. Own U.S. international tax provision calculations under ASC 740, including GILTI, FDDEI, BEAT, Subpart F, FTC, and related international components of quarterly and annual reporting
  2. Lead preparation and review of U.S. international compliance/information reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8991-8993), partnering closely with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings
  3. Manage the global filing calendar and audits to ensure timely and accurate filing
  4. Drive U.S. international tax planning & structuring initiatives for cross-border operations, expansions into new jurisdictions, M&A, and OECD Pillar Two readiness
  5. Oversee global transfer pricing policies and required documentation

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive international tax experience across public accounting and/or in-house at a multinational, high-growth company
  • Hands-on experience with preparing international components of quarterly and annual tax provisions
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (e.g., Subpart F, GILTI, FTC, BEAT and related international reporting concepts)
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, internal controls, tax compliance and audits
  • Experience partnering effectively across Accounting, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to operate independently, manage complexity, and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments
  • Public company experience

Nice to have

  • CPA and/or Master of Taxation is preferred
  • OECD Pillar Two experience is a plus
