This internship role supports the AT&T Account Management team with sales operations, lead generation, and customer engagement activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in sales administration, CRM systems, marketing execution, and customer outreach while contributing to day-to-day account and pipeline support. The role is designed for entry-level candidates seeking practical exposure to enterprise sales processes and customer management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management Support
- Assist account managers with daily sales administration activities
- Support sales lead generation, qualification, and MQO (Marketing Qualified Opportunity) conversion
- Help maintain and update contract inventories and customer records
- Support pipeline tracking and opportunity updates
Customer Outreach & Engagement
- Conduct customer reach-outs, including phone calls and email follow-ups
- Assist with preparing customer communication materials
- Support relationship-building initiatives with existing and prospective customers
CRM & Sales Tools Administration
- Upload, update, and maintain data within CRM systems
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer and opportunity records
- Assist with handling and basic reporting from sales tools
Marketing Campaign Support
- Support execution of marketing and email campaigns
- Assist with campaign tracking and response analysis
- Coordinate closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach activities
Social Media & Market Research
- Conduct social media research to identify potential leads and market trends
- Assist in building and maintaining a customer contact database
- Research customer profiles, industries, and key contacts to support sales efforts
Reporting & Documentation
- Assist with preparing basic reports, summaries, and presentations
- Maintain internal documentation related to sales and campaign activities
Education / Experience
0–2 years of experience or exposure to sales, marketing, or administration
Basic understanding of:
- CRM systems or databases
- Sales and marketing concepts
- Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communication in English, organization, and attention to detail
