Investment Accounting Manager

NVIDIA is seeking an Investment Accounting Manager to manage the accounting for their equity investment portfolio, partnering with Corporate Development and NVentures. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing accounting risks, performing impairment analysis, and preparing financial reports. The role requires an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, a CPA license, and 8+ years of experience in venture capital accounting or related fields, with technical accounting knowledge of investment accounting standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure investments are accounted for in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
  2. Facilitate investment accounting decisions by serving as a trusted business partner to the Corporate Development and NVentures team
  3. Identify and manage accounting risks of existing and new investments, including conducting high-level accounting diligence and performing impairment analysis
  4. Own preparation and presentation of internal and external financial reporting for NVIDIA's strategic investments
  5. Implement and monitor SOX controls over strategic investments

Skills

Required

  • Finance or Accounting degree
  • CPA license
  • 8+ years of experience in venture capital accounting or related field
  • Technical accounting knowledge of Investment accounting (ASC 321, ASC 323, ASC 820)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Executive communication and presentation skills
  • Cross-functional team collaboration
