IT/AV Support Engineer role at Canva in Beijing, supporting Canvanauts and contributing to IT operations. What you'd actually do

  1. Provide high-quality on-site and remote technical support to Canvanauts across China.
  2. Deliver AV and event technology support for in-person, hybrid, and remote events — including gathering technical requirements and partnering with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  3. Support and troubleshoot all on-site hardware including MacBooks, mobile devices, network infrastructure, printers, and video conferencing systems.
  4. Manage Canva China hardware assets, including procurement, vendor coordination, provisioning, inventory accuracy, and lifecycle management.
  5. Support onboarding and offboarding across China, including hardware preparation, account provisioning, and access de-provisioning.

Skills

Required

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience providing in-person IT support in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting Apple / Mac devices.
  • Experience supporting collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience supporting event technology (video conferencing, audio, hybrid setups).
  • Exposure to onboarding/offboarding processes and access provisioning.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
