Boeing Global Services IT is currently looking for an IT Business Partner (ITBP) to join their team in Bristol, UK. This position will focus on supporting multiple programs and campaigns by partnering across business, functions and IT. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business leaders, supporting their day-to-day execution of current contracts by delivering Enterprise Digital Solutions. The ITBP proactively serves as a “trusted advisor,” and is the primary IT point of contact to business leaders. The ITBP will also support active campaigns, optimise IT costs and ensure solutions are secure and compliant. Working closely with performing organizations (Global IT, End user Services, InfoSec, etc.) the ITBP will help prioritise statements of work, ensuring delivery to the business on time with first time quality. This position offers **hybrid working **with a requirement to be office based 3 days per week.
The successful candidate must gain the confidence of both business and technical staff, acting as a conduit between these groups at national and international levels. They will be a strong communicator, able to present ideas, facilitate workshops, and elicit needs from the business. The candidate should be a self-starter with experience working in a matrix organisation and the ability to discuss ideas and concepts with staff at all levels. Stakeholder engagement is a critical aspect of this role.
Role Responsibilities:
· Serves as a key liaison between the business or function, to understand priorities and needs, developing strategies to ensure business objectives are met.
· Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives and represents the business or function within IT to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and help deploy the right solution.
· Develops and executes communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders.
· Identifies risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments.
· Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function.

- Project and Portfolio Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/SAFe, Waterfall).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and emerging technologies. Ability to evaluate technology solutions and their impact on business.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Experience with data analysis and performance metrics.
- Negotiation and Influence: Ability to negotiate with vendors and internal stakeholders. Skilled in influencing without direct authority.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Extensive IT experience.
- Defence sector experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of MOD maintenance, equipment, engineering and supply‑chain processes, and relevant standards/compliance (MOD O/S, DEFSTAN/JSP, ITAR, EAR).
