It Coordinator - Film Production - Expression of Interest

IT Coordinator role focused on supporting film and episodic productions with technology infrastructure, including workstations, networks, editorial systems, and on-set support. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain systems in fast-paced environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement, equipment rentals, network provisioning and managed services - ensuring delivery aligns with production milestones.
  2. Acting as the production-side technical liaison, you will translate creative and operational requirements into clear, actionable requests for studio engineering, content security and enterprise IT teams.
  3. Monitor and manage production technology budgets
  4. Ensure compliance with content security requirements
  5. Develop and maintain production-specific IT documentation, including network diagrams, equipment inventories, troubleshooting guides and runbooks

Skills

Required

  • IT support experience
  • macOS and Windows environments
  • networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, Wi-Fi deployment, VPNs, firewalls, and basic diagnostics
  • production-specific tools such as Qtake, Moxion, Jump Desktop, PIX, and Shotgrid
  • remote viewing and streaming platforms (e.g. ClearView Flex/Pivot, Evercast, Cinesync, Sohonet)
  • SDI/HDMI signal chains and calibrated monitoring environments
  • Avid Media Composer workflows and editorial infrastructure

Nice to have

  • Experience in film, television, media or live event production
  • deployment, imaging, and troubleshooting

  • Experience with remote viewing and streaming platforms
  • Experience supporting Avid Media Composer workflows and editorial infrastructure is highly desirable
