This role is for an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to manage equipment inventory, delivery, installation, and deployment for offices, data centers, and co-locations, and to track assets throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing logistics plans, managing call-offs, coordinating installations, supporting inventory management, improving processes, troubleshooting issues, managing customs, overseeing warehousing providers, and ensuring real-time inventory data accuracy. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data center environments, with a proven track record in process improvement, vendor management, and warehouse operations.

What you'd actually do

Developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centers
Managing the call-off process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment
Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites
Working alongside our internal Procurement team to support the management of inventory levels and identify any stock challenges
Helping with asset transfers and driving process improvements across logistics and supply chain operations where possible

Skills

Required

5+ years of experience in logistics and project management
Experience in IT or data center environments
Demonstrable experience improving, streamlining, and documenting processes
High sense of urgency
Proven track record of managing vendors and coordinating third-party services
Experienced project manager and resource planner
Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
Strong communicator
Great people and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets

Nice to have

Experience in managing asset transfers and improving that process where possible

Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites

Managing customs broking and paperwork arrangements for the importing and exporting of goods across global markets
